14.05.2026 Meet the World on Campus: How to Build Intercultural Competence (19.05.26, Coffee Lecture Online)
Date: 19.05.26, 2:00-2:30 p.m. (s.t.)
Intercultural competence is becoming essential—not only for studying abroad but also for collaborating with international students and engaging in campus life. In this session, we’ll share practical tips on how to navigate and make the most of international events on campus, and actively participate in intercultural projects. As an example, we will introduce the PADMICA project, where we offer students an intercultural preparation before their stay abroad and follow-up with them after their return to consolidate their intercultural learning. In this session, you’ll get hands-on advice and real-life insights you can apply immediately—whether you’re planning an exchange, attending an international event, or simply interacting across cultures on campus.
At our Coffee Lectures, you will receive the most important information on key topics relating to academic work, digital media, literature research and the library in 30 minutes.
Registration is not required.
You can easily access the web conference room via this link or, as a university member, via the Coffee Lectures ILIAS course.
