Anti-Discrimination

Since April 2019, Philipps University has got a counseling center for students who have experienced or are currently experiencing discrimination at the university or in the university context.

The Federal Anti-Discrimination Office (ADO) was established in 2006 after the General Equal Treatment Act entered into force. It is an independent contact point for people affected by discrimination. The responsibilities of the Anti-Discrimination Office are laid down in the “Anti-Discrimination Act” and correspond to the EU Equal Treatment Guidelines.
