The PopBio 2026 will take place in the Center for Synthetic Microbiology at the University Campus "Lahnberge".

There are different buslines leaving from and arriving at the bus stops indicated on the map. You find an overview below:

Welcome Reception

For those of you arriving on May 6 we offer a welcome reception at the Musizierhaus (musician's parlor) in the Old Botanical Garden in the historic center of Marburg. It is located not far from the Elisabethkirche next to the University Library.

Conference Dinner

We look forward to welcoming you to the conference dinner on the evening of May 8 in the New Botanical Garden of Marburg. You will have the opportunity to stroll through the greenhouses harboring plants from all over the world and enjoy the spring atmosphere of one of the largest botanical gardens in Germany. The Botancial Garden is located in walking distance from the conference venue and you get there using the same buses. It is located to the south of the biology building. Just follow the signs to "Botanischer Garten" and enter via the main entrance. At the top you can find a map of the whole area.
