Responsibilities

We are the point of contact for all women working or studying in the department regarding any questions about the advancement of women!All women in the Department of Geography are convened by the dean at least once a year for a general meeting. At this meeting, the women’s representatives present their activities from the past year and provide information on current developments and events. The assembly elects the women’s representative and her deputy for a two-year term. The student women’s representative and her deputy are elected for a one-year term.

In addition, we are available to serve as points of contact in cases of gender discrimination and sexual harassment. You can find additional counseling services under "Current Information."
