Bachelor's programs

You can acquire geographical knowledge at the department of geography in three different bachelor's degree programs:

• B.Sc. Geography (Monobachelor): B. Sc. pure geography - without a structured minor
• B.Sc. Geography (Combination Bachelor): B. Sc. Geography as a major with one or two structured minor subjects - or as a structured minor subject
• B.Sc. Sustainability in Economics and Space: interdisciplinary bachelor's degree program in economics and geography on sustainability- selated topics in business and society

Master's programs

You can deepen your geographical skills in three different master's degree programs at the Department of Geography:

• M.Sc. Physical Geography:Physical-geographic master's program for the in-depth analysis of environmental dynamics and its effect on landscapes, ecosystems and complex environmental contexts 
• M.Sc. Economic Geography:Master's degree program in economic geography for the in-depth analysis of spatial economic processes - with a focus in innovations, knowledge dynamics, value chains, global production networks and clusters
• M.Sc. Sustainable Development: Englisch-language interdisciplinary master's degree program of economics and geography on sustainable development and transformation research from the perspective of economics and geography 

Teacher training program in Geography 

• Teacher Training Program in Geography with a state examination: for all those who want to pass on geographical knowledge to the next generations at German secondary schools.
