We investigate how nature and society are changing under climate change – and develop knowledge for a sustainable future. Our research integrates the monitoring and modelling of biodiversity change with the analysis of the atmosphere and climate in the context of societal transformations. On this basis, we design strategies and tools for planning resilient landscapes and cities that bring together ecological, social, and technological perspectives.
