Climate and Transformation

We investigate how climate change affects ecological systems, societal structures, and livelihoods. Our focus is on water cycles, resource security and conflicts, as well as the impacts of climate change on ecology, biodiversity, and health.

In doing so, we combine natural science analyses with societal perspectives to better understand climate impacts and develop forward-looking solutions. Our work supports strategies for adaptation and resilience – in landscapes, cities, and social spaces worldwide.
