Brain Stimulation

Noninvasive brain stimulation refers to a set of technologies and techniques with which to modulate the excitability of the brain via transcranial stimulation. The major modalities of noninvasive brain stimulation are transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS). Noninvasive brain stimulation is of great interest to clinicians and researchers, given its unique opportunities in studying the brain and improving its functioning.
