Postgraduate Course on Victimology, Victim Assistance and Criminal Justice 2014

From May 12 to 24, 2014, the 30th Postgraduate Course on Victimology, Victim Assistance and Criminal Justice took place in Dubrovnik. The course was aimed at advanced students of law, humanities, social sciences, and education (social work). The internationally high-profile program provided interdisciplinary insights into current criminological and victimological topics – ranging from issues of victim participation in international criminal law, to alternative conflict resolution models, to treatment methods for severely traumatized victims of violence. As in previous years, the course was held at the Inter-University Centre Dubrovnik (Croatia). Between 70 and 80 students from Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia participated, including staff from the ICWC and students from Philipps University Marburg.
