Course Program - German as a Foreign Language

The courses offered in German as a Foreign Language are open to all affiliates of Philipps-Universität. They predominantly consist of in-sessional classes with one or two sessions per week, covering the levels from A1 to C1. Shortly before the start of each semester, we run four-week intensive pre-session classes for newly arriving international students. Classes preparing for language exams that are needed for the application at a German university like Testdaf or DSH are NOT offered by the Language Center. If you are interested in the DSH, please contact the Studienkolleg Mittelhessen.

Summer semester 2020

The course program for the summer semester 2020 is currently being converted into a reduced range of digital courses (i.e. guided tasks with feedback on ILIAS along with class sessions by way of web conference). This means that the courses presently listed on this site will not necessarily take place. They do, however, give an idea of what will be converted into digital courses. More information will be provided soon.

The program of winter semester 2019/20 is still available in our course archive.
