Internationalization of career planning

This year, we would like to address what internationality means for the career planning of young scientists* in various formats. How important are stays abroad and international visibility? This concerns questions of international mobility. Working abroad as a researcher can enrich your scientific work, broaden your perspective as well as your academic network, and thus strengthen your professional profile. But who can travel where for conferences, field and laboratory visits? And what do international researchers experience at Philipps-Universität Marburg?

The topic also concerns questions of the digital availability of one's own and other publications (open access) and the global visibility of one's own research focus. What decisions need to be made regarding digital visibility and publication strategy? What new perspectives do digital formats open with regard to international scientific participation? And can interculturality also be learned on the Internet?
