The Department of English and American Studies is happy to announce that Prof. Dr. Stefan Th. Gries (UC Santa Barbara and JLU Giessen), the internationally renown, leading expert in the field of statistics for linguistics with R, has agreed to host a workshop in Marburg, entitled "Advanced Statistical Methods (in Linguistics) with R".
