In this workshop, you will acquire how to plan budgets successfully for third-party funding applications.

In this workshop, you will learn which project costs you can apply for in third-party funding applications and how you can calculate them according to the conditions of the funding bodies. Using practical examples (DFG, BMBF, ERC), convincing and reviewer-friendly presentations will be discussed. You will also become familiar with helpful (AI) tools for budget planning.
The aim is to prepare you for the requirements from the reviewers' point of view and to provide you with the necessary knowledge for successful budget planning.
Qualification Outcomes
After the workshop, you will be able to
- Explain the requirements of various funding institutions (e.g. DFG and BMBF) and understand the differences in presentation and calculation.
- Create a budget plan for your own project appropriate to the funding institution.
- Utilize helpful (AI) applications for creating budget plans.

Requirements
To participate in the online course, you need a PC/laptop with a current browser (recommended: Chrome or Firefox) as well as a headset (or speakers and microphone), a webcam plus a stable internet connection.
