  • How To MIX

  • Application

We welcome all exchange students, whether they be from one of our partner universities (e.g. Erasmus or Oversea program partners) and who have been nominated by their home university, or who wish to join us as on their own as freemover students.

For more information on partner universities, application procedures, and points of contact, check out this site.

For MIX, there is no particular application procedure: Once you have been accepted as an exchange student at the University of Marburg, you are free to take classes across disciplines by registering for any of the participating modules or classes. Of course, if you would prefer to stick to your core subject by only taking classes offered by your host department, you are free to do that as well.

When you register for your Marburg exchange on our international student registration portal Mobility Online, just check the box next to MIX. More detailed information, including ensuring that your MIX credit points will count toward completing your degree program, will be provided by your home university.
