Placement for courses in German as a
foreign language in the summer semester 2012
All students who wish to participate in a German course in the
summer semester must take part in a placement test before
registration.
You can only register without a test result if you have
a) taken part in the intensive pre-session class in March 2012
or
b) successfully attended a German course at the
Sprachenzentrum in the last winter semester.
The placement test will take place on Tuesday 10 April 2012 at 12.00 a.m. or 7.45 p.m. in Biegenstrasse 12, Hörsaal 201 (upstairs). All in all it will take about one hour and 30 minutes. You need not register for this test, just come along!

Test results
Test results will be announced on Thursday 12 April 2012 from 10 a.m., on a list in the entrance hall of Biegenstrasse 12. This list can then also be accessed online.
The test results will show you which level
of the courses offered is appropriate for you. Should there be several
courses available on “your” level, you can choose freely among
these.
Should you wish to attend a course on a different level, please get in
touch with the head of the German Department Dr. Susanne Duxa. She will
be available for your requests on Thursday 12 April
2012 from 10 to 12 a.m. in room 019.
