In its "Service centre for disabled students" SBS the University of Marburg provides divers assistents for the concerns of disabled students and disabled people who are interested in studying at the University of Marburg. These employees also act as authorized representatives for special need students.

They are contact-persons for all special need students but have - because of the special situation at the University of Marburg - different focuses in their work.

Especially for people with hearing difficulties, visually-disabled and disabled women:

Brita Kortus, Room-No.: - 1024a
Tel.: (0 64 21) 2 82 60 46
kortus@verwaltung.uni-marburg.de

Especially for physically disabled:

Clemens Schwan, Room-No.: - 1021
Tel.: (0 64 21) 2 82 61 86
schwan@verwaltung.uni-marburg.de

Especially for visually disabled:

Franz-Josef Visse, Room-No.: - 1024
Tel.: (o6421) 2 82 60 39
visse@verwaltung.uni-marburg.de

We’d expressly like to encourage those students who suffer from a chronic disease to perceive our range of services so that together we can – amongst others - elaborate an individually adapted compensation of disadvantages.
