Vocational Training & Dual Study Programs
The training and professional development of dedicated young talent is a particular priority for us. That is why we offer training opportunities in a wide range of professions and dual degree programs at Marburg University.
The range of programs on offer extends from training in administration or IT to training as a precision mechanic in the technical workshops of the Departments of Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, or training as a photographer with a focus on industrial and architectural photography at the German Documentation Center for Art History – Bildarchiv Foto Marburg, to training as a dental assistant at the dental clinic, or training as a gardener at the Botanical Garden.
In the university and department administration, Marburg University also offers, in collaboration with the Hessian University of Applied Sciences for Public Management and Security, a dual degree program in "Inspector Trainee – Public Administration and Digital Administration" (BA) with civil servant status.
