Ecological Plant Geography

Welcome to the working group "Ecological Plant Geography" (Lead: Prof. Dr. Maaike Bader)

Our group studies the ecology of plants from the level of individual (ecophysiology, functional ecology) up to the ecosystem (community ecology, spatial ecology). Our geographical foci lie in mountains and in Latin America, while topical foci are epiphytes, bryophytes, and mountain vegetation, alpine treelines in particular.
