Subject to the final funding decision, we expect Postdoc and PhD positions to become available in 2026 in the DFG research unit "Fog-dependent water relations and plant invasion in the Galápagos Archipelago under climate change" (GArua). For an overview of these positions, look here. In our group, the positions offered are for a general coordination and synthesis postdoc and a PhD student to work on diversity patterns of epiphytes, with a focus on bryophytes. We could involve additional PhD students that bring their own funding (e.g. a scholarship) and there will be opportunities for doing MSc or BSc thesis projects within GArua.
