The research center repeatedly organizes international conferences, which, with their interdisciplinary focus, address current issues in the field of war crimes trials and thus promote the global exchange of scholars and practitioners of international criminal law, civil society actors, journalists, directly involved parties, and all interested individuals. In this way, ICWC staff have been able both to welcome guests from around the world to Marburg and to participate in events worldwide themselves.
