Università degli Studi di Siena

Siena is located in Tuscany and has around 54,000 inhabitants. The Università degli Studi di Siena founded in 1240 is one of the oldest and first public universities in Italy and has around 20,000 enrolled students. As in Marburg, Siena's campus is the city. Among others, the University of Siena is best known for its School of Economics and Management.

Two Degree Program Option M.Sc. Economics and Institutions: Students studying M.Sc. Economics and Institutions and staying for a full year at the University of Siena, can be awarded the degree in M.Sc. Economics and Institutions from the University of Marburg and the degree M.Sc. Economics from the University of Siena. To be awarded both degrees students have to complete a specific requirements and curriculum, subject to the Annex I of the academic cooperation agreement between both institutions, during their study at the University of Marburg (one year) and the University of Siena (second year).
