Bucharest University of Economic Studies

Bucharest replaced the city of Târgoviște in 1659 as the capital of Romania. Since then, Bucharest with its roughly 1.9 million inhabitants has become the economic and cultural center of Romania.

The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), founded in 1913, is (49.000 students) the largest universities in Bucharest. Today, the university with 11 faculties is also known as one of the most prestigious universities in the country.
