Biography

Giovanbattista Andreoli, He/Him, is a licensed psychologist as a cognitive-behavioral therapist in Italy, where he grew up. He is a Ph.D. candidate in the frame of a binational doctorate between the University of Bologna and Philipps-Universität Marburg. He achieved his master’s degree in clinical psychology in Italy at the University of Padua and he was visiting scholar at the Melbourne School of Psychological Science (Melbourne University, Australia), and at the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (Boston University, USA).

His research interests concern the integration of data-driven methods to case conceptualization and treatment planning in the clinical setting, as well as idiographic network analysis and process-based therapy. The research project of Giovanbattista and his research team is focused on understanding the clinical validity and utility of network analysis in clinical practice. In addition, one of the main aims is also to provide an overview of common practice, trends and gaps of fully idiographic network analysis in the clinical setting. In addition to his clinical and research work, he loves jogging, trekking, and traveling around the world to discover new people and cultures
