EMF – Management of Third-Party-Funded Research Projects – In-person event

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to professionally manage third-party-funded research projects from start to finish.

This workshop focuses on the successful management of third-party-funded research projects, emphasizing the importance of meeting funder requirements, using effective management techniques, and understanding team dynamics. 

You will learn essential skills in project planning, role and process clarification, and the professional administration of funds. The session will focus on success factors and specifics unique to third-party projects, equipping you with the tools to control your project, report on research progress, and address challenges such as delays or personnel changes.

We will be working with a realistic project scenario. Interactive elements include peer-exchange and plenary discussions as well as group exercises.

By the end, you will have advanced skills in planning and executing third-party-funded research projects. To manage your own projects effectively after the workshop, you will get access to resources such as checklists and online mind maps.

Registration

This is a mandatory event of the certifying program "Designing and Managing Research Projects" (EMF).  If you are not a participant of the program, you will be on the waiting list until two weeks prior the beginning of the event.

Please note that registration is always binding. You may cancel your registration up to twelve days before the event begins without providing specific reasons. Thereafter, you will be required to pay the attendance fee even if you do not attend the event.
