From 17th to 20th of February 2019, an excursion to the British Museum in London will be organised by Dep. 05 Old Testament. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the excursion will focus on a special exhibition with artefacts from the Neo-Assyrian period. It brings together many material testimonies of this period, which are otherwise difficult to access, and which are of interest to exegetes and ancient historians alike. Together with the permanent exhibitions, one can gain an excellent overview of the various empires of the first millennium BC.
