U|Universitätsstraße: Buildings and their users

Universitätsstraße is home to one of the university's most representative buildings: the Old University with the University Church. The Old University’s Aula is where the Philipps-Universität’s important festivities are celebrated. The building where the Aula is located was built in the 19th century on the site of a Dominican monastery. Across from the Old University is the Landgrave House, where part of the Law Department is housed. The Law Department also has space in the Savignyhaus. The Department of Business Administration and Economics has much of its space in the historical buildings along the Universitätsstraße.
