We advertise W2 professorships as tenured positions or as development professorships with a tenure-track option leading to a W3 professorship.

In the case of a clinical professorship, you must be qualified to serve as a chief physician. Typically, a W3 professorship is aimed at researchers from Germany and abroad who already hold at least a W2 professorship or have independently led junior research groups and are firmly established at qualification level R4.
