MO:VE is an innovative digital project especially designed for students from abroad:
“Marburg Online Virtual Exchange” offers courses to be studied at home, but with an international outlook and the opportunity to gain intercultural experience and competence at a German host university.
Your “archaeology online” semester at Philipps-University, Marburg
The program is addressed to students of archaeology from Turkey, and will be taught in Turkish by teachers and researchers from Marburg’s renowned archaeological department. If you are interested in taking part in the program, here is a first overview:
- The program takes place in the 2023/24 winter term: It starts 16.10.2023, and ends 09.02.2024 (with a break from 23.12.2023 to 05.01.2024).
- The program includes courses from Prehistoric Archaeology, Classical Archaeology, as well as Christian and Byzantine Archaeology (see list below)
- The program is open to all BA/MA (lisans/yüksek lisans) students enrolled for archaeological studies or related fields at Turkish universities.
- Participation in the program is free of charge.
- Participants are registered as regular students and get their own matriculation number, Email account and access to the university’s teaching and learning platform ILIAS.
- Participants take part in courses especially designed for their subject and receive a transcript of records documenting their ECTS-credits and grades.
- Participants can also learn German online in beginners’ or intermediate courses.
