Dialects in the State of Hesse
The Research Center Deutscher Sprachatlas (DSA) is the central institution for research on the regional varieties of German. The institute has several collections on German dialects since the 19th century. The documentation of the dialects of Hesse also falls within the research mandate.
On the project page some information about the dialects in the federal state of Hesse is collected. The presentation will be extended continuously.
