Your involvement for students of Philipps-Universität Marburg

Commitment to career orientation for students

As a graduate of Philipps-Universität Marburg, would you like to offer current students

  • give an insight into your professional field of activity and your professional career,
  • exchange ideas with them about starting a career, or
  • pass on your practical expertise?

Then take the opportunity to get involved in Career Service lectures or workshops and thus support students with valuable information on career orientation.

Feel free to contact the Career Service:

Personal knowledge transfer at ProMotivation and Mentoring Hessen

Mentors can use their experience to promote the development of mentees. Philipps-Universität Marburg offers the ProMotivation and Mentoring Hessen programs for this purpose.

The mentoring program ProMotivation accompanies female students and graduates interested in doctoral studies in the transitional phase after graduation and in the decision for or against a doctorate. Mentors (m/f/d) reflect on their own academic career, pass on their experience and, if possible, are already in the middle of their own doctoral phase or have already completed their doctorate.

Further information on ProMotivation can be found here: www.uni-marburg.de/de/universitaet/administration/verwaltung/stabsstellen/frauen/aktiv/mentoring/promotivation

In addition, Philipps-Universität Marburg supports the Hesse-wide program Mentoring Hessen, which offers mentoring in four different funding lines.

  • ProCareer.MINT
  • ProCareer.Doc
  • ProAcademia
  • ProProfessorship

Information on the commitment for mentors can be found at: www.mentoringhessen.de.
