Professors Newly Appointed

The Presidential Board of Marburg University invites the newly appointed professors to an annual Welcome Day. We welcome the newly appointed professors to a formal reception featuring an accompanying program for family members.

The Welcome Day helps colleagues network with one another and get to know the heads of the central administration and support services at an information fair. 

Various workshops are offered to support the onboarding of new faculty members, including sessions on supervising doctoral students and on establishing and managing their first professorship.
