Examinations
Examinations are necessary for completing a segment of educational
progress (e.g. a module, intermediate exams, stage I studies,
preliminary medical exams, etc.) or final examinations finishing a
course of studies.
The examination regulations for each course of studies determine which
exams are necessary, as well as any other proof of academic achievement
needed for a degree. Additionally, the regulations for subject
combinations (obligatory and optional subjects) are defined and for
example, in the magister studies, the combination of majors and minors.
In the Bachelor and Master programs, the examination regulations
determine which modules are necessary to complete a degree (a module is
a unit of studies made up of an arrangement of topics that are to be
handled within a specified time frame and on which the student is
tested to earn university credits). The examination regulations are
available on the web site for each specific course of studies or department
