Requirements for Admission

We require proof of your degree completion

- of the First State Examination in Law.

or

- of a relevant Bachelor’s degree program in the field of

- Law,
- History,
- Social Studies,
- Philosophy,
- Business or Economics,
- Media Studies,
- Psychology,
- Regional Studies,
- Geography,
- Religious Studies,
- Gender Studies,
- Archival and Documentation Studies or Translation Studies

or

- proof of a comparable domestic or foreign professionally qualifying university degree.
Deadline for application

The program starts once a year in the winter semester.

Application deadlines for the start of the winter semester 2025/26:

Application with a German higher education degree: June 2, 2025 – August 22, 2025
Application with a foreign higher education degree: May 1, 2025 – August 22, 2025
