Teaching Evaluation & Graduate Surveys
LATEST UPDATES:
- Registration for the 2026 summer semester is now open. Unfortunately, this was delayed due to a software error.
Please be sure to note the changes to the questionnaires (English version)! - For the 2026 summer semester, a new feature called "repeating instructor blocks" will be available for courses with multiple instructors (see here and under Questionnaires for details). In addition, minor changes have been made to the questionnaires, a section on student learning behavior has been added, and the new FEGEX questionnaire for field exercises and excursions has been developed.
- Registration for the 2025/26 winter semester will close on March 4, 2026, as we need to generate summary reports and prepare for the next semester. Registrations already in place at that time will be processed as requested; however, it will no longer be possible to register new evaluations on your own.
If, after the portal has closed, you still need to complete an evaluation during the last 4 weeks of the winter semester that you have not yet registered for, please contact SL-Lehrevaluation@verwaltung.uni-marburg.de by email. - New additions to the team:
As of January 1, 2026, Sylvia Dietrich – whom some of you may already know from Division III B 3 (QSS) – has joined the Teaching Evaluation Division on a quarter-time basis. She focuses primarily on the graduate survey (especially questionnaire (further) development and overall evaluations), serves as deputy director, and will also assist with teaching evaluation. As of February 1, 2026, Josefin Bultmann has joined the team as the second student assistant. - Graphic on portal usage: Self-selected timing of teaching evaluation in the 2025 summer semester
The new evaluation portal allowed teachers to choose their own evaluation period. The graph shows which calendar week was chosen for the end of the evaluation period. According to the graph, most evaluations end in the last week of lectures.

PREVIOUS NEWS:
- The evaluation portal of our new Zensus software is now available for the summer semester 2025. You can now use this portal to register evaluations, extend evaluations, and view your own results. A user guide can be found here.
- CHANGE OF PROVIDER/SOFTWARE: The support contract with evasys GmbH expired on July 31, 2024. On September 1, 2024, there was therefore a change of provider and software to Blubbsoft and the evaluation software Zensus. Initial evaluations with the new software have been possible since the end of January 2025.
- All of our questionnaires can be supplemented with an optional module:
-> optional questions for teaching with digital tools (dig-Module)
-> optional questions for teaching with AI tools (AI-Module) - The results of the student survey on the use of AI in studies and teaching conducted at the end of the 2023 summer semester can be found here.
We provide you with a standardized and tested method for evaluating your teaching. You can choose from various questionnaires for different types of courses and receive the results from us promptly and in graphical form, ideal for discussing the feedback with your students.
We are happy to advise you on all aspects of study course and degree program participation in the Germany-wide KOAB graduate survey conducted by ISTAT (Institute for Applied Statistics) in Kassel, and will take care of both the administration and data processing for you.
