11.04.2019 Attendance of the lecture series "Machine Learning in Econometrics"

Nürnberg, 8^th-9^th April, 2019: The MARG team has attended the lecture series "Machine Learning in Econometrics" held by the well-known econometrician and economist Prof. A. Colin Cameron (University of California at Davis). The course dealt with supervised and unsupervised machine learning, challenges in selection of regressors, issues of neural networks and regression trees, covering the applications using Stata and R.

The attendance of the lecture provides the opportunity to the MARG team to get deeper into various advanced econometric topics and inspiration for applications in its own research.
