MARG is offering two master (ski)seminars once on “Assumption-Based Valuation: Case studies” and once on "Data-Driven Valuation: Machine Learning" during the winter term 2019/2020.
Both seminars are open to all master students specializing within the “Accounting and Finance Group”, but also to students specifically interested in firm valuation.

The seminars will focus on selected issues of firm valuation and machine learning bringing together complex real-world case, state-of-the-art theoretical issues, empirical evidence, and machine learning modelling in order to allow students to apply their academic and real-world experience.

Schedule and Location:
Organizational issues will be discussed during the kick-off session. Students will present their work on the presentation day.

Kick-off session: October 17th, 2019, 4p.m.-6p.m. (+1/0010 (Biegenstraße 14, Hörsaalgebäude (HG))
Registration: October 18th, 2019, till 6p.m.
Mid-presentation: January 26th, 2019, time: tbd
Seminar paper deadline: March 13th, 2019, 23:59h
