More and more frequently, data needs to be shared between different people/groups and collaboratively edited. A growing number of sync & share storage services are meeting this demand. However, many of these services have an unclear business model and questionable data protection foundation.
next.hessenbox is a data protection and copyright-friendly alternative to other cloud services. It is provided by the University of Kassel for Hessian universities for research, teaching and administration as a central service with decentralized authentication.
With next.hessenbox, you can easily store your files – such as projects, presentations, scripts or term papers – online and synchronize them across all your devices. This way you have access to the latest version at any time, whether in the lecture hall, on campus, on your PC or on the go with a laptop or smartphone. You can also share specific files and work on them together with others.
