Pediatric cardiology
The treatment of children and adolescents with congenital heart defects and heart diseases is carried out in close cooperation with the Children’s Heart Center Giessen. At Marburg, we can perform all noninvasive diagnostics such as ECG, stress ECG and echocardiography. For invasive diagnostics (e.g. cardiac catheterization) and therapy (e.g. cardiac surgery), the patient is transferred to the Children’s Heart Center Giessen.
Interns will learn to indicate and evaluate pediatric cardiology diagnostics.
