Open Access Publishing with Cambridge University Press
Philipps-Universität Marburg participates in a contract with CUP according to the Publish & Read model. Thereafter, corresponding authors that are members of Philipps-Universität Marburg are entitled to publish in CUP journals free of charge.
The following article types can be published in open access: Research Articles, Review Articles, Rapid Communications, Brief Reports and Case Reports.
The open access publication opportunity at no costs is valid also for the around 340 hybrid journals ("Contains open access") as well as for the 70 fully open Access journals of Cambridge University Press ("Open access").
As an author, you must go through the full registration process for Open Access publishing. At the end of the process, Rightslink, the system that controls billing, checks whether costs are waived based on the appropriate institutional affiliation. If appropriate eligibility is detected, then the price goes to zero.
