Obsessive compulsive disorder

Patients suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) as well as their environment experience serious psychological stress and impairments. The studies of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy is dealing with several factors being discussed in OCD such as probalistic information, memory impairment and metacognitive processes. Furthermore the effectivity of a disorder-specific psychotherapy is evaluated in meanings of outcome, predictors, moderators and mediators of a succesful therapy.
