Biology of human gliomas: functional of galectins-1 and -3 and effect of their pharmacological inhibition; functional role of sphingosine kinases and effect of their pharmacological inhibition; effect of CDK-inhibition on proliferation and migration of glioma cells
Effect of novel chemotherapeutic dosing regimens on MGMT and on tumor control in glioma patients

Supportive care in brain cancer patients


-    Mental Chronometry (e.g., response times, accuracy, working memory performance, error rates)

-    Analysis of behavioral performance patterns (e.g., learning rates, distribution of responses)

-    EEG recording and analysis

-    ERPs, Lateralized brain responses (N2pc, CDA, LRP)

-    Motion tracking of finger, hand, and arm movements in reaching and grasping

-    Recording and computation of movement parameters in various social interaction situations
