Research focus
Visual attention, Temporal and spatial constraints of visual selection; Preattentive vision, Grouping and Segmentation of visual objects and scenes; Visual context processing, Context Learning; Visual short-term memory, Encoding and maintenance of visual information; Perception-action coupling, Impact of motor processes on the deployment of visual attention; Motor preparation and coordination in reaching and grasping; Motor coordination in single and joint action

Techniques

-    Mental Chronometry (e.g., response times, accuracy, working memory performance, error rates)

-    Analysis of behavioral performance patterns (e.g., learning rates, distribution of responses)

-    EEG recording and analysis

-    ERPs, Lateralized brain responses (N2pc, CDA, LRP)

-    Motion tracking of finger, hand, and arm movements in reaching and grasping

-    Recording and computation of movement parameters in various social interaction situations
